The name of this pasta derives from its particular shape, similar to that of squid cut into rings. Typically combined with seafood sauces, Calamarata pasta, with its contained but still satisfying shape on the palate, is often brought to the table to celebrate an important occasion or more simply for a lunch with family or friends. Their ring shape allows them to be filled with creams or fish tartare, for an all-Mediterranean aperitif.

Perfect with: Fish, crustaceans or molluscs recipes. Delicious also with vegetables sauces

Cook it like this: Boiled “al dente” into plenty salted water and mixed in a pan with sauce
