Pasta is born smooth, and with it, Penne too! The Penne Ziti Lisce are a delicate shape on the palate but rich in taste! Bronze-drawn as required by the Regulations for Pasta di Gragnano PGI, they also combine well with the richest sauces thanks to their porous surface. They are perfect for a “Scarpariello” recipe, that is a tomato-based recipe from Campania where the Penne drained al dente are covered with a rain of grated Parmesan cheese and sautéed vigorously in a pan with tomato, finished with basil chopped by hand for an Italian taste.

Perfect with: Fish, meat or cheese sauces

Cook it like this: Boiled “al dente” into plenty salted water and mixed in a pan with sauce
